Emery McCallister's Obituary
Emery Marvin McCallister, 92, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend passed away November 9, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his wife Vada Ruth McCallister, father Jesse Alonzo "Lonnie" and mother Luna Emil (Lucas) McCallister; brothers Elvin, Herman, Cledith, Golden, sister Lue Vicie, two great-grandchildren and a special daughter-in-law, Inetta McCallister. He is survived by sisters Loreda Mae "Reda Mae" Bias, LaAnna Crawford, Evelyn Jewel Frazier, sister-in-law Georgia McCallister, children Marvin McCallister, Nancy (Doug) Black, Melvin (April) McCallister, eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and so many friends he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio with Minister Joe Hill officiating. Burial will follow. No visitation will be held.
