Earl and I worked together for many years both in Huntington W.Va. and in Wallbridge Ohio. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good friend who always had a smile on his face. He will be fondly missed by me and the men he worked with. Machinist Jim McSweeney retired in 2006
RIP Uncle Earl, what I wouldn't give to hear one more of your stories. Kiss Mom and Grandma for me. The only peace in all of this is knowing you are in the arms of the Lord, probably telling him a story as we speak! I love you an you will be missed. Prayers and comfort to the family.

Earl you were not only my brother but my friend. I remember lots of things among them when you gave me coal for Christmas with a note saying to look in the hamper for my real present. I figured it was another joke and refused to look that entire evening and that night I finally looked and you got me my first paint by number set. I ran and have you a hug and you laughed at me for not looking earlier!!!!

RIP Earl Pennington. You were my cousin, my friend, and my Dad when my Mother died. You taught me about guns, taught me to hunt, to fish, taught me to stand for what is right, taught me to drive in that bad ass Ford truck and much more. You were truly loved by your children, Mary Beth Kelty , Jayna Melvin and me. You were a big reason for me joining the USAF because I remember you in the USN and doing 3 tours in Vietnam. You were a man to be respected and you were loved and will be missed by many.
You will be missed great memories and I loved going camping and you treating me just like one of your girls
