I am going to miss George. His tall tales always entertained and interested me. And like me, he loved Buick cars! He gardened and gave away most everything he grew. George never met a stranger. He was probably the most social man I ever met. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Rest easy, my friend.
Little George, as my Dad, Tom Thacker, & all of us called him, came to see Daddy fairly often. He usually would bring him something each time he came. My Dad's last Birthday George wanted to be the one to give Dad's Birthday party with our family. He was so sweet & kind to everyone. We all loved him so much! My day was a very special person in my life,he lived to fish and hunt,I was planning on a fishing trip with him in the near future,I just celebrated his birthday, which he turned 87 Friday May 8th.,I'm going to miss him so much not being in my life,my heart is been broken 💔 into,he also loved to raise a small garden every year,he just got his plants set out one week ago,DAD you was the greatest man I've ever known,may you rest in peace now,no pain you will have,you are in heaven looking down at me smiling, saying "catch a big one for me: I'll see in heaven one day ,DAD I love you and miss you so much 💔
George was a wonderful and kind man. I thank God that he put him in my life 4years ago. George treated me like I was family. I think God that I got to take care of him for 4years.
