I am a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Proctorville and on Wednesdays we would go to Wyngate and minister to the patients and staff. I fell in love with Red immediately and always looked for her when we arrived. I had no idea she had passed because we had stopped coming due to changes there. It made me so sad to read of her passing. I will keep the family in my prayers.
I got to know Gladys from coming into the Checkered Flag Restaurant in Milton as I was a waitress there. Came to find out we were related as my mother used to be a Kerstetter. Gladys and I had some good times and conversations and I truly missed her when she moved. I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy (Von Blohn) Burton
