Helen will be sorely missed by her church family. She had a kind word and a cheerful smile for everyone. She not only showed us how to live, she taught us how to die with dignity. Her faith was an inspiration to us all.

Dear Gwinn Family,Arlene and I would to tell you how much Helen meant to us. We had the great pleasure of knowing her for 25 years while at Chesapeake United Methodist Church. Helen's Faith and Love and encouragement to us was such a tremendous strength we drew from over the years. Helen had a ministry of her own with her greeting cards. she never forgot you on your special day, whether it be birthday, anniversay, Easter, Christmas or if she felt you needed a lift. Her love was real and came from the heart. Her faith in God gave her a peace that inspired you to also be strong in times of trial. Her love of scriptures made you want to read and study more. She was a person to pattern yourself after. Our hearts are broken for each of you and the loss you are enduring.May God's Love richly bless each of you through the times ahead.

Laura, Pam, Steve and family. I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. My mother had a great deal of respect for your mother as mom always spoke highly of her. I pray that each of you will hold on to your faith in Christ at this hurtful time in your lives and trust in him. Sincerely, Dana Edwards and family
