Jamie Nicole Poynter's Obituary
Jamie Nicole Poynter, 46, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Emogene Dolen Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born October 6, 1978, in Huntington, WV to Barbara Sue Poynter of Proctorville, OH and the late William David Poynter. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her twin sister Amy Noel Poynter. In addition to her mother she is survived by four sisters Sonia Blackburn, Judy (David) Korstanje, of Huntington, WV, Billie Roby, and Renee Poynter of Proctorville, OH; seven nieces and nephews Brandy (Dennis) Andrus, Krista (Jason) McHenry, Billy (Taylor) Blackburn, Alex VonVille, Jace VonVille (Nadia), Payton VonVille, and Maddox VonVille; four great nieces and nephews Jackson, Brynlee, Logan, Claire; and a host of cousins. Private family services will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. A burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio.
