Jason Thomas Maynard's Obituary
Jason Thomas Maynard, 38 of Huntington, WV went to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 11th, 2024. He was born October 17th, 1985 in Detroit, MI to the late Sandra Lee Carter Maynard and Glenn Gordon Powers. Jason was an active member of the recovery community and worked as a state certified PRSS. He had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior and a passion for working out, to care for his mind, body and spirit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Marie Maynard, and former wife, Christina Marie Dalton Maynard with whom he shared four beautiful children that he loved dearly. Survivors include, loving girlfriend and bonus son, Jessica Lynne and Adrian Blaire Wormington of Huntington, WV. Two brothers, Robert (Bob) Maynard of Detroit, MI and Christopher Matthew Maynard (LaFawn Sofaya) of Huntington, WV and their two children. Also, a host of nieces and nephews including, Amber and Brandon Maynard. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
