Jerry hired me as a weld lab technician in 1989. He was like a father figure to me and taught me how to weld all the nickel alloy welding products. He was one of the finest men I have ever had the privilege to have know and work with. He will be missed, and my prayers and sympathy go out to his surviving family and friends...

I remember Mr. and Mrs Pittman having the place on Racoon Creek and he would row over in his canoe and talk to Dad and mom all the time. It was a bunch of fun always up at the creek. Prayers to all the family. Tanya Roberts Gill

Jerry will be missed. He truly walked the talk in his life’s journey. We will miss the wit, wisdom, and smile he provided.
Jerry was a wonderful person. I was the secretary for the adult evening classes at the Cabell County Vo Tech Center and I enjoyed working with him. He taught the adult evening welding classes. He always had a smile and a kind word for all of us.
We are deeply saddened that our friend Jerry has departed this life. We loved him, and so enjoyed our interaction during our Huntington and 26th Street church years. Jerry was fun to be with, clever, encouraging, and accomplished. He loved God and the Lord Jesus Christ, Delores, all his family, his faith family, and his many, many friends and colleagues.
It makes the thought of Heaven even sweeter that Jerry will be there to greet us!
