I met Judy at Seth’s graduation party. She thanked me for “being good to her boy.” I had no idea what she meant. Turns out that about 45 years earlier I had provided a meal for Woody who was a life guard in Myrtle Beach that summer. Judy’s was a life well-lived. I believe a cornerstone of her life was showing love and gratitude for others. I know that she passed her attitude of gratitude on to Woody.
