Larry Allen Yost graduated to heaven on November 7, 2025, and was reunited with his beloved wife, Barbara Yost. Larry was born on July 15, 1951, in Tazewell, VA, to Thomas and Mary Louise Yost. He was preceded in death by his wife Read Obituary
Pastor Larry graduated from Tri-State Bible College and always remained a friend of the college. We are thankful for his life and ministry that carried the mission and vision of TSBC all the way to the end of his life - "fulfill your ministry" (2 Tim. 4:5). He was a good student, and like many of our graduates, he poured his life into gospel ministry in the tri-state region. All of us at TSBC pray for God's grace on the family in their loss of Larry, for his church family, and friends.
His life serves as an example of the one thing required of a steward, that a man be found faithful. Faithful in his work, in His walk with the Lord, to his family, as a friend, as prayer partner, and in His perpetual and multifaceted service of the Savior.
His sensitivity and compassion especially evidenced in winning others to Christ. I have multiple texts from him this year of people that he personally led to Christ.
So glad for him in the presence of the Savior, the reunion with his parents and his wife Barb. Praying for Bruce and Beth as they process their grief and faithfully follow the examples set by both of their parents.

Larry was a great friend. Always welcomed me to the Green Bottom Bap Church. Always with a smile. He kept up with my ministry on Facebook. Larry will be missed, but glad that he's at his new home, and one day we will meet again, no more sickness.

Larry will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was the first to offer to pray for others in times of need, celebration, and everything in between. He never missed an opportunity to leave a kind message or comment. Praying for the family and friends who were lucky enough to know such a God-fearing man.
Just prayed that the Lord Jesus Christ will give you comfort and encouragement during these challenging days. Bro Larrry was a wonderful friend, faithful prayer warrior, an effective soul winner, enjoyed many services together and much more! He was always keeping us posted of the progress at Church through Facebook. He will be missed in a special way!
