We have known each other since 1989, and the same for your brother Jimmy Dale.
Everything that is Wild & Wonderful about West Virginia is embodied in your heart & soul.
You have always had my back, and despite the endless stories that could be told, this is how I choose to remember you...singing with our band. "Don't Close Your Eyes" was the favorite...and people, when I was in need, this man gave me his drum set!...yes, he also played them and jammed with the band on many jam nights...and did a fine job!
When I think of our “Good Old Days” you are right there.
You feared no man, and this was well known, and could be just as kind and gentle, understanding and sympathetic.
I have always had the utmost respect of how up-front, forthcoming and brutally honest you were, and that respect was returned in kind. I always felt safe when you were around and I thank you, eternally.
Thank you for being part of the best days of my life.
