I am thankful for the 37 years that God blessed me to be Mark's "momma."
Mark had a kind, gentle and caring heart and I will miss him deeply..his texts telling me he loved me and thanking me for things I had done for him.
Mark received Jesus as his Savior and was baptized when he was young. In recent months Mark rededicated his life to Jesus. My heart is filled with precious memories and I have peace knowing Mark is with Jesus

Life could be a struggle. He told me one day when he was 16 that he wished his name was Maximus. From that day forward I called him Max. He was my younger brother, despite being born to a different mother. At times, he was the strongest man I knew. At others, the kindest. I hope that he has found the peace that he has needed since his cancer.
He was by far one of my best friends. He always called me "sirs" for some silly reason.....he will really be missed.....my condolences to the whole family
I will always fondly remember Mark as I was his 5th grade teacher at Monroe. He was so smart and always inquisitive and persistent. He was truly a shining light in my classroom . I have run into him several times since he became an adult and we were glad to reminisce those elementary days. May God comfort his family and friends. I will pray for you all. Deborah Bailey
Linda and I will miss seeing Mark play in the backyard with his little kids. You could tell they all 3 really enjoyed those times. Mark was always courteous and mannerly toward us. We will miss seeing him, around the house. Maeghan's Aunt & Uncle (neighbors).
