I haven’t seen Mike since I’ve gotten out of long term rehab. This is really a shock for me. I was at speedway in Burlington yesterday and saw someone that looked just like him and thought to myself that I’d love to run into him, only to find this news out today. I have 20 years of memories I could share. Mike is one of the most caring, kindhearted people I’ve been so lucky to be able to call me friend, and just seeing each other always started with a smile. My heart goes out to his family. A few notable memories would be breaking down and Mike fixing the car with a bottle cap ( A genius mechanic). A baby deer wandered into his yard list and he took care of it until it could go out on its own. I would bring my first son to his house when he was little and Mike would get toys out and make something for him to eat and I’m just forever grateful to have known him and I’ll be always be sad I didn’t reach out sooner.
