Dear family, I want to express our condolences to you for the loss of our friend. Phyliss Laymon as we knew her way back when we all went to school at Sybene. Phyllis was such a dear friend of my sister Sadie Morrison Barnes. They shared so many good times together as small girls throughout their school years at Sybene and later at South Point, High school. Phyllis had a special Aunt that was my sixth grade teacher. The best that South Point had to offer. Irene Laymon Stewart was chosen best liked teacher when I atteneded her 6th grade all girls class room. She is an unforgetable teacher. We will miss Phillis. I was always comfortable knowing that my sister had such a good friend when I couldn't be there for her. Phyllis and Hazel were there in my place. I thank them so much for their friendshio to my dear sweet sister. Perhaps we will all meet again in heaven. I am counting on it.
