Becky was a beloved member of the Boster family. The grandchildren loved their “Beck”. She was their most loving and enthusiastic cheerleader at sporting events, and she participated in their lives in every way possible. Our family deeply loved Becky, and she was special to us in so many ways. Our hearts were broken when she left us, but we know we will see her again someday. As the daughter of a career Army father, Rufus Cape, Becky lived the military life, traveling over-seas with her family in her childhood years. Throughout her life, Becky developed a deep love and respect for our nation’s military men and women. She was dedicated to our veterans and veteran’s organizations, and over the course of many years, Becky volunteered and supported them in many different ways. Becky was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 10330 Ladies Auxiliary, in Greenville, SC, which was dedicated in honor of her father. She was a Lifetime Member of the VFW Post 1064, Ladies Auxiliary, of Huntington, WV, having served as the Auxiliary President and in every other office within the organization; a member of the Post 16 American Legion Auxiliary, the Disabled American Veterans, DAV Auxiliary; a Lifetime Member of the VFW National Home for Children; the Military Order of the Cootie and several other volunteer organizations.
