He was so wonderful to me as a child and always. He had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh; he always knew how to tickle the funny bone of each and every individual he made contact with. For me, as a child, he would always make me show him my hands; he made it plain it me that it was his duty to protect me from boys and that he'd better not see any rings on my fingers or he would go looking for the boy who was bold enough to give me a ring. It was a little game we played for many years until I finally grew up, married and had my own children, but he only changed direction at that point and always found a way to make me laugh. He was such a great joy to be with and I am so honored and grateful to have been his niece. I look forward to the day when I can spend eternity with him and all my other loved ones.
