Rex Freeman was my daddy. He was a wonderful dad. He took care of us as much as he could, but he was in the army and could not always be there, but we knew he loved us one of the fondest memories I have of him a little bit funny, he took us fishing and we didn’t catch any fish, but he took us to the grocery store and bought about two packs of fish and opened it up, put it in his basket and took it home and told mom that we had caught them another great memory, which when we were in Germany, he sent us home a year early. I remember being at the bus station on the bus and daddy standing there, looking at us with tears, running down his face, and I was crying pretty much a lot and I could watch him from the bus all the way there so I couldn’t see him no more and I could feel his love and I knew then that he will always love us. I will always love you, daddy. My heart is with you always.
