I met Richie when he had his accident and was hospitalized @ St. Mary's. I was a student nurse and we became close. We remained friends for many years. Richie taught me a lot about perseverance. He was a smart, sensitive, funny guy and I am blessed to have had him in my life. I am so sorry for your loss.
