Roger was more like a brother to me than a brother in law ! He has been in our family since I was about 7 yrs old ! I remember going to the drive in movies with him and Geneva because for him to take Geneva he had to take the younger kids with them ! Have so many memories! Love and miss you Roger

Roger was a great friend in school made I know he will be truly missed God bless the family, you will be prayers

Q: What will you never forget about Roger?
A: When I was a little girl, my sister Rennie and I went berry picking in the woods. We found a moonshine still. The next day we went back and took the sugar that was there. On our way out of the woods guess who we ran into. No one other than Roger in full uniform. He made us take him back to the moonshine still. lol He was all serious about this. something I will never forget.

He was best dad ever . Always loved his family . Was always there when we needed him . We will miss him !! Love you dad

Roger..you have always been my favorite uncle and I will always love you until we meet again..you will always be in my heart forever

Q: What was Roger really good at?
A: Dealing respectfully with all people. I remember Roger from my childhood and also as an adult when I worked EMS. Roger was good at his job with the Lawrence County Sheriff's office. He treated fellow emergency responders with respect, and was even respectful to offenders he was arresting. A true professional, God loving and great man. You will be missed. Prayers for his wife, Pam, Ethan, and the entire family.

I wish I could hear you, dad and grandma laughing, that contagious laugh, just one more time. But I know you are rejoicing with them in heaven and surrounded by God's love.

We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Hall
