Russell Myers' Obituary
Russell Kemp Myers, 74, of Proctorville, OH, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, at home with his soulmate of 31 years, Lindagail Holst by his side. Russell grew up on his family’s farm in Clay County, West Virginia. After graduating high school, Russell pursued his Mechanical Machining degree in Florida. Upon returning to West Virginia, he worked at South Charleston Stamping Plant from 1973 (originally Volkswagen) until retirement. In his retired life he enjoyed sharing his talents with his loved ones and the community, including volunteering with Boy Scouts of America as well as the Fairland Band. His legacy will be remembered through the knowledge he imparted to those he loved. Russell will be forever missed by his family, and his best friend, Mackie. There will be no services.
