Sherry L. Ward, 77, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on July 27, 1947, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Hollis and Glenna Nichols Edwards. Along with Read Obituary
I am so sorry to hear of Sherry”s passing, she was a very special soul and will be deeply missed.
I am truly shocked Sherry is gone. My Grandmother loved Sherry so much. She used to bake a cake, wrap it up and leave it in the mailbox so Sherry would have something to nibble on while delivering the mail. Granny's sister, June, was married to Edd Edwards - Sherry's uncle. So we are family - distant and by marriage - but family. I am so truly sorry to the family, James, and Bryan for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have nothing but wonderful memories of Sherry’s family going back to elementary days. Sherry and I were majorettes at Fairland, and I remember spending the night with her and having the best fried eggs ever the next day, made by Sherry. She was a very giving and loving person. I loved her mother and father. Pam has the same nature and is a true friend today. Gary is the “funniest man you will ever meet “ quoted by Mackenzie when she was four and attended VBS at Rome. I went the next night with Mackenzie.
So very sorry for the loss of Sherry. I will miss her beautiful smile and loving soul. 🙏🦋
Pam and family, I am so sorry to hear about Sherry's passing. I know what a wonderful sister and friend that she was to you. Sherry was like your second mom. You and her family have many wonderful memories. I loved how you all always shared pies and food after church on Sunday evenings. I always admired your close relationship. She was your Best friend and sister! You are in my thoughts and prayers dear friend. I love you and your family!
