Sherry L. Ward's Obituary
Sherry L. Ward, 77, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on July 27, 1947, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Hollis and Glenna Nichols Edwards. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry C. Ward; daughter in law Kristen Ward; Nephew Rusty Leep. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Proctorville, Ohio. She was a devoted member to the Rome Church of Christ, in Proctorville, Ohio. She is survived by her two sons Bryan (Tonya) Ward, and James Ward; two grandsons Brandon (Natalie) Irvin, and Mason Ward; granddaughter Braden Ward; two great-grandchildren Emma Irvin and Owsley Irvin; one sister Pam (Gary) Leep; one nephew Jeremy Leep; niece Shawna Leep; two great nieces Holli Leep and Teagan Leep; one great nephew Steeler Leep; many other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
