I was Bill’s Sister in law and had lost track of him for a while, then we reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. I’m so sorry to hear this, Bill was a genuine friend to many. Kelly and Lynn, this is also to let you know that My Daughter your first cousin on your moms side Darla Kim passed away this passed October 2020, I was trying to let you Father know when I found this I’m so sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure to have Bill Miller as my supervisor when he and Clyde Ackley hired me back in 1985 with the Real Estate Division office. Bill and Clyde made my employment with the Army Corps of Engineers, and move to Huntington, a VERY rewarding career start for me and enjoyed working with Bill Miller until his retirement. I always enjoyed Bill's wit and humor, which are excellent qualities of a supervisor, along with his mentorship and training to me and others on the Real Estate Team! I am now a supervisor and try to bestow some of those great qualities that Bill had shown to me in those days, to my team now! My deepest sympathies to the family in your loss. So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill was, in part, responsible for selecting me for a position in Real Estate Division in 1983. Over the following years I came to respect Bill as a boss and person. He played a huge roll in the Corps' Real Estate program. I am now retired myself but owe a big debt to Bill for his mentorship during my career. My wife Shelly and I offer our sincere condolences on your loss.
