William "Willie or Bill" Miller's Obituary
William (Willie or Bill) Miller, 85, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, from Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Bill was born in Cumberland, MD on July 21, 1935. He was a 1953 graduate of Huntington High School, Huntington, WV, and served proudly in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1957. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers having spent his entire career in Real Estate Division. Bill was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Arlynn and Grayce Barkley Miller, along with two brothers Dick and Blaine. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara “Bobbi” Baisden Miller; as well as his two daughters and son, Kellie Lee Roberts of Canton, GA, Kaye “Lynn” Rowe of Proctorville, OH and William Bryan Miller of Smithfield, VA; and brother James Michael Miller of Wellington, FL. He is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Kimmey, his staff, and Hospice of Huntington. At Bill’s request, there will be a private service for family. Entombment will be held at Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Disabled Veterans or Hospice of Huntington.
